Your Email Privacy Overview

We value your email privacy. Neither Subscription Site Insider nor our parent company, Anne Holland Ventures Inc., will reveal or hand over our email lists of Members, newsletter readers, and/or editorial contacts to any third party emailer. 

If you choose to post your email address as part of your Membership profile, only other Members can see it there. Profiles are not open to the general public. 

Our lists are housed - with privacy protections - on secured systems such as our email service provider aWeber, our forms-builder Formstack, our webinar provider GoToWebinar, our membership platform MemberGate, and our editorial contact system BatchBook. However, none of these have permission to download, view, or use the names contained therein.

Member Profile Privacy & Rules

Insider Members are invited to maintain a professional profile at the site. You may share as little or as much contact information as you’d like. It is AGAINST Membership policies for anyone to abuse their fellow members' profiles either by emailing them or by spamming the Private Notes area of their profile. Rules:

1. Do not scrape, collect, or otherwise compile a contact list from Member profiles.

2. Do not send promotional email – even if it's just to one single person.

3. Do not post a spammy/self-promotional Private Note to any member.

If you break the rules, your membership may be revoked without refund immediately. If you suspect someone has broken the rules, please do contact us at LauraF@SubscriptionSiteInsider.com immediately. A copy of the offending email or note would be helpful. Thank you.

The Insiders-Only Newsletter

This is a double opt-in list, which means you must click on a link we email you after your name is entered into our form in order to activate your subscription. Otherwise, we won't send you any newsletters. The purpose of the double opt-in is to stop anyone from signing up a friend or colleague (or stranger) for the list without their permission.

The Newsletter will be sent to you on a regular basis, along with occasional alerts of interest for new services from SubscriptionSiteInsider.com. You will not get advertising blasts directly from any third party.

Email to a Friend

We do NOT collect or store any of the email addresses you type into our Email a Friend widget. Your friend will receive a text-note about the page you are emailing them, and that is all. If they want any other email from us, they will have to sign up for themselves.

Twitter

If you use the Twitter options on our site to sign up for alerts and/or to send item hotlinks to your circle, Twitter will track your activity. Their Privacy Policy is here. http://twitter.com/privacy

Contact Us Form

Queries via our Contact Us form are held in confidence. We will reply directly to your question or query, and will store your information in our own customer service database in order to keep track of it for the future. Only Anne Holland Ventures, Inc. authorized staff and service suppliers have access to this private database.

Site Activity Tracking & Cookies

We use analytics technology such as Google Website Optimizer and Google Analytics to measure and optimize our site's performance. We may also serve cookies from our email service provider aWeber, which hosts our list and HTML opt-in offer. The purpose of these cookies is to avoid serving you with an overlay more than once per session, because otherwise it would be annoying. Other cookies may be used in future for tracking activity on the site in the aggregate.

Sponsors

We do not give out our email lists. Sponsors or marketing partners of Subscription Site Insider will not have access to any individual's email, aside from profile information you make public to them as members, unless you contact them yourself or you fill out a form explicitly requesting that they contact you directly. Once you do that, you are covered by the other organization's privacy policy.

Comment & User Generated Content Usage

If you use our forms to post comments, reviews, forum messages, or otherwise join the conversation on this site, your Member profile will be linked to the post. If you comment on our blog, your name and possibly your blogging profile may be linked in the comment if you have an applicable one. Otherwise, your contact information will not be available on your contribution unless you've specifically added it to the text.

Your submission or contribution itself may be moderated by our editorial staff. We will not change or edit the body of your posting, but we will delete it or refuse to publish it if it appears to be on a completely unrelated topic, blatantly and wholly self-promotional, a duplicate posting, or otherwise spammy in nature. You own the copyright and are wholly liable for the contents of your posting however, by posting the comment on our site, you give us the rights to publish or republish it in any format we desire at any time we wish, indefinitely and without contacting or compensating you in future.

Fair Use & Copyright

You have the right to use any factual information – such as statistics – publicly available on this site or its related publications, PDFs, webinars, etc. You may also quote up to two-sentences of text from any of these sources directly, including our articles and commentary, as long as you give proper citation showing the source to be Subscription Site Insider.

However, you may not pick up and reproduce any graphics, including but not limited to our PowerPoint slides, test images, videos, and logo, without written permission from us. You may obtain this permission by contacting KinleyL@SubscriptionSiteInsider.com with the details of what you'd like to reproduce and how it will be used.

You also cannot scrape or otherwise take our content, in part or whole, for use in an Intranet, website, blog, video, book, presentation, or any other publication, document, or use unless that document explicitly says you may use it in that manner. (For example, some of our PowerPoint slide downloads do allow you to use them for in-house presentations.) 

Please note: We will defend our copyright! It's tough to create and enable quality content and we have a right to maintain our ownership of it.

Password Sharing

Your membership is a single user license – for your individual use only! Although you can access your account from different computers (your home computer, your work computer, a mobile device), you are not allowed to share your password with another individual. 

If two or more computers try to access your account at the same time, you will automatically be locked out.  Sorry about this – it's an automated DRM system. To contact customer service for a quick fix, email LauraF@SubscriptionSiteInsider.com.
